For centuries mankind had no need to take notes, make lists, or prioritize anything. A list would surely contain the following….

Find food.

Find water.

Get wood for fire.

Shelter.

No need to write that down. The struggle was real and never ending. No argument about the validity of those four things either. Through the slow methodical passing of time, we are now to the point in human existence where many will loudly proclaim that food, water, fire and shelter are a right. So how does a need become a right? Politics. Politicians need votes and voters like promises. Despite the breathtaking number of ordinary people that capitalism has lifted out of poverty, the western world, specifically the United States, is losing faith in the capitalist system. Capitalism is failing our youth, and our youth are being courted by another system that is promising equality, healthcare and those other four things that were on the original list that I mentioned earlier. This other system has quite a resume, but that’s never discussed, but what is discussed are things like millionaires, billionaires and wealth redistribution. Greed is talked about a lot, but never envy. Envy is encouraged actually.

Now here is where it gets ugly. Take a deep breath and brace yourself if you are one of these being courted by this other system….

Socialism doesn’t work. To get this god forsaken system of government implemented, you need envy greed and one more vital thing, useful idiots. They are the most important thing actually. College is full of them. They’re everywhere though and all they need is someone to bring them all together. If you watch the news you can pick them out, they’re the ones not denouncing this system. With my love of lists being what it is, I think we need one right now,

Evolution of Socialism

Courting. Everybody is gonna be sitting around the campfire singing protest songs and loving each other, and this wonderful big tent is full of misfits, all working together, and even though some of these groups secretly hate each other, they are sitting at the same table and everyone feels warm and fuzzy and a part of something. Social Unrest is what they are actually discussing around that campfire.

Gaining Popularity. Somewhere between 35 to 40 percent of Americans are open to the idea of socialism. That takes my breath away. Three out of four democrats say that they would be willing to vote for a democratic socialist.

Gaining Power. This is where we are currently. You can’t gain power without getting elected and you can’t get elected unless you have a candidate who is electable. We have so many socialists running for offices around our country right now that I can’t imagine that they will all be defeated. Momentum can be a very scary thing to watch.

Socialist Takeover. There are only two ways that socialism has ever taken control of a society. Through elections, passing laws and regulations, or revolution. In my opinion, the fastest way to get your communist ass kicked is to take the revolution route in a country that is heavily armed like America. They have chosen elections, laws and regulations.

Assuming Control. Somehow they did it. What now? If history is our teacher, here’s what will happen. One thing useful idiots were never taught is one of the first things that happens once socialism is in control …. Purging the population. Who do you think will be on that list? Practically everyone who helped overthrow the old form of government. And the homosexuals and anyone else with a history of standing up or standing out. Over time our new system will cure obesity too. Remember the original list? All those things we never understood will become very clear. Equality is unobtainable as long as we are individuals with varying degrees of intelligence and initiative. Everything on that original list will now be back in play now, and something that has always been said, something you never bothered to consider, will now haunt you forever….

A government powerful enough to give you everything you want is powerful enough to take everything you have.
