I know brung isn’t a word but please don’t let bad grammar drive a wedge between us. Im not well. It’s the last full week in November so I’ve been busy trying to wrap everything up until spring, and the weather has been great.
Monday, great day.
Tuesday, great day.
Wednesday, I have quite a bit to do but I’m not feeling so hot. Headache. Ears ringing more than normal. A little bit of drainage. By bedtime, I am going down.
Thursday. OMG. You know the cool magic trick where the clown pulls a scarf out of his mouth and one after another, an endless stream of scarves, and your thinking, where are all of those scarves coming from? I just described my sinuses. I spent the day alternating between blowing my nose and coughing and sneezing, and my head was on the verge of exploding. I think history will prove this as the worse cold ever recorded in central Kentucky. My kind wife made several trips to town, to find a combination of pills and concoctions, tissues and contraptions to ease my suffering, while I secretly wished that I wasn’t the one who was sick. Alright, I’m not proud of myself, and I think the drug combination that we settled on may have caused a few hallucinations that I’ll just keep to myself for now. Have you noticed how long a day is when you’re sick?
Friday, I feel like hell but I think I’m better than yesterday. This day has been so long. Sooooo loooooong. How can you nap off and on all day and still gain this much time? I’m taking so much stuff that right now I don’t even know if I’m still sick. My coughing is a little better, and while I used one whole box of tissues and most of a roll of tp yesterday, today I’ve used maybe a third of that.
I hope I turn the corner tomorrow. Raw nose, watering eyes and all the rest, I’ll be happy to be well.

Hope you’re feeling better today!! 🙂
