Five and a half years ago I stepped of that cart with nothing except a loincloth, waiting in line to be executed. I didn’t know it at the time but several people were there that I would be interacting with as this adventure progressed. My first real helper was Lydia and she was sworn to carry my burdens. During my first play through, I lost Lydia in the Reach and realized much much later that I had killed her. This is the best game that I have ever played. Number two on my list of games is so far back that I wont discuss it. What makes this game so hard to put down? It’s open world, and it’s big and there is an abundance of dungeon play.
So why write about a game this old? I am still waiting for an adequate replacement. The next closest is Fallout 4, but it doesn’t have the lure of Skyrim. Come on somebody. Anybody. Five and a half years is long enough.
