I remember. I remember believing what I was told. I remember believing everything I ever heard or saw on the nightly news. A half hour that was filled with video, along with commentary and experts. These experts were filled with both confidence and evidence, and along with a consensus of other like minded experts, sat above reproach. I believed that they were infallible. I’m certain that they believed that they were. Time has a way of revealing the truth however, and infallible is reserved for the Almighty. Experts come and experts go. They make predictions that never come to pass, are never held accountable, and are quickly replaced by the next army of infallible experts that are above reproach, and on it goes. Generation after generation it goes on, and each generation is filled with a new group of believers. It is a religion of fools. It is a religion of zealous fools, and they are in a war against those of us in opposition to predictions that will never come to pass. A religion of fools who have no accountability can be a dreadful thing in a civilized world, but please remember….
Time has a way of revealing the truth.
