Science doesn’t lie. People on the other hand, in the name of science, often do.

Church is filled with two types of people, folks who are looking for something special, and folks who have found something special.

Five or six years ago I read an article about the possibility of everything we think is real, including us being a simulation. Computer generated simulation if you will. The more I thought about it, the more I came to believe that it wouldn’t really matter. Our Creator didn’t tell us how He did it, other than He spoke everything into existence. What makes this story odd is that a day or two after reading the article, I was shopping at a grocery store, and two complete strangers…. A boy and a girl…. walked right up to me and asked a question that gave me goosebumps. Do you think we are living in a computer simulation?

Sometimes I miss my dad.

When I spend too much time thinking about how corrupt our form of government has become, I wonder exactly how a king would be worse.

Someone told me years ago that if voting mattered they wouldn’t let us do it. I thought he was crazy at the time. Now I wish I had asked him to elaborate.
