Our pastor is doing a study in the book of Revelation and I know that every generation feels they are possibly the one to see Christ’s return, and every single generation has been wrong…. until now.

See what I did there? Here’s the thing though, someday that generation is going to be right, and they are going to look at everybody and collectively say I told you so…. I told you all!

I’m not doing that. What I am doing however, is asking myself questions like, what would the last days look like, or how could what’s happening right now fit into things we’ve been told our whole lives, and some of the answers are a little scary right now. With that in mind, hear me out….

As far as the news goes, and where much of our population are hawks at heart, try right now to be a dove. be a dove as long as you can, but prepare for hard times. I’ll quote The great Marvin Gaye in saying believe half of what you see, son and none of what you hear, but I can’t help being confused….

I think our chance of what everybody’s calling “Putin’s war” escalating into a world war is slim to none unless somebody from our country does something stupid. The scary part is that right now we got the stupid team on the field, and they are moving that ball toward the endzone like Brady with two minutes to go and all of his timeouts. So let’s wargame this out and see where it takes us….

We escalate this and just like that Putin is in the corner, and China is watching with their massive armies on the sidelines. We have been dealing with lies and deception for decades so we have no real idea who actually started this thing, each side is blaming the other side and war weary us are in it to win it for the first time in a long time. Problem is…. so is Russia, and as the world economies crater, about the only ones not involved at the moment is the Middle East and China…. except for Israel, they are helping in a way I don’t at this moment understand, other than they are our allies. I have always heard that Russia would attack Israel. It never occurred to me that it would be because of their relationship with us, but right now that seems right. Somehow Russia crushes us, but their attacks on Israel doesn’t work. In fact, somehow their stuff starts malfunctioning over their own airspace. No way that could ever happen, right? Except it does happen. So with the United States and Russia in flames, everyone’s looking around in disbelief and everybody acknowledges their arrogance, and the world begins to rebuild, right?

Nope. China looks around and don’t see any opposition in any direction.

I’ll let you write your own ending, but my ending looks like Revelation.

I did tell you it was crazy. In a world where I’m almost legendary in hyperbole, I just hope it’s ridiculously wrong.
