As I watch the Russian army systemically move through Ukraine, and the mass evacuation of women and children into Poland, I am waiting for the inevitable. All men except the very old, are being forced to remain and fight for their country. My prayer is that the agression stops in Ukraine, and doesn’t spill over into NATO countries, and China doesn’t decide that now is a good time to move into Taiwan. Progressive thinkers would love to explain how we have evolved into enlightened modern protectors of the downtrodden. All that is needed to implement this Utopian paradise is more power. Reality demonstrates daily that we are the same as grunting cavemen who picked up rocks and bones and made war with one another. The world is filled with Cains and Abels, and this world is in a never ending state of decay. Pray for peace and prepare for war, and pray that hard times doesn’t come for you and yourn.
