It’s Easter Sunday. Yesterday was my only granddaughter’s fifth birthday. It was heartbreaking to not be able to be there. Five Thursdays ago I walked into Walmart and experienced the first shortages and empty shelves. Five Fridays ago we picked up our grandsons in Somerset Ky. for spring break, and we never crossed the creek all week. Five weeks ago seems like an eternity now. At the end of all this, we will all have a story that will be in our hearts until the day we die. It will be told many different ways, and at the end of all this, we will surely become something very different from what we were before. Lines are currently being crossed that can never be forgotten. Freedoms taken to keep us safe they say. There are during this difficult time disagreements on virtually everything. The wall of separation between church and state has been breached today in Kentucky by law enforcement. This will never be forgotten.State troopers walking through church parking lots, recording license numbers, to be used against those exercising their faith. Freedom to worship taken from us, to keep us safe. What will they do next to keep us safe? Time will tell. We are breaking new ground every week. I prefer dangerous liberty over peaceful servitude. Our masters do not.
