Jesus had a lot to say about hypocrisy. I have quite a bit to say about hypocrisy too.

If you want to know how Jesus felt about hypocrites, get you a New Testament and read the first four books.

If, on the other hand, you want to know how I feel about them, just keep doing what you’re doing and in a little bit, you will have a pretty good idea.

Hypocrite actually means actor. Long ago, actors wore theatrical masks and over time, hypocrite came to mean anyone who was masking who they really were, or pretending to be somebody that they weren’t. Some of the biggest hypocrites today are… you guessed it… actors. Politicians are the worst. They pit us against each other, and they have no intention of taking any of the snake oil that they are peddling. Agenda driven journalist wear a mask of fairness, honesty, and non- partiality. Hypocrites, vipers, deceivers of men. If we wore what we are on our foreheads, most of their foreheads would say Liar. All of the above preach one thing and practice something very different, under the table, and protected by others who wear their own mask.

What we need now, is someone who is above all the lies and hypocrisy, that can lead us away from this disgusting society that we have all become accustomed to. When everyone wears a mask, what then? Who do you turn to, and who can you trust? Who can you follow? The answer is nobody. There is nobody in Washington that gives a rats ass about anything about you, other than your vote, and the minute the votes are counted, you are forgotten until it’s time to pit you against whatever it is they are currently pushing.

Cockfighting is a blood sport, fought in a ring or a pit, and so is dog fighting. The ones who train and fight dogs are sometimes referred to as dogmen. Both of these so called sports are illegal, but sometimes, when I watch the news, or use social media, I feel like we are being driven into the ring by dogmen, to fight for their amusement. It is much easier to fool people into going down into the pit, if the dogmen are hiding behind a mask.
