I sat on this for a few weeks, but it’s time for a brand new rant about something unrelated to politics so here you go…

One of the things that is difficult about winter, particularly when you’re retired, is that there isn’t the motivation to get out and go when the weather is bad. So day after day you look for something to keep you occupied. I fill part of my day with news. I fill part of my day here. In a few days our President will give his first State of the Union Address, and we will all hear about how great our economy is doing, and how low unemployment is now, and thing after thing. And the other side will tell us that the previous president is responsible for all this good news and on and on. I’m more worried about the state of us.

Our President just got a clean bill of health today and liberals all across this great land are rending their cloths, dressing in sackcloth and sitting in an ash heap, pouring ashes over their heads. Weeping uncontrollably, because apparently he is perfectly normal. How can it be? Well, just maybe you’re the fruitcake.

Let’s do something that I like to call pretending. Others call it an alternative life style, but let’t keep our feet firmly planted in reality while we are pretending.

The first woman just got elected as president of the United States of America.

Hillary has been in the White House now for almost a year, and Republicans have been fighting her every step of the way. Republicans still control the House and Senate and every vote has been straight down party lines. None of this women versus men bullshit ever came to light,frankly because there was no need to punish every man for the sin of sending her packing. Her first physical was just completed today and all the doctors are taking questions.

Be honest, what questions would be asked?

Does she dye her hair?

Look at her cankles, she can’t be healthy.

Does she have false teeth?… Does she take them out at night?

We saw her fall during the election.

Is she crazy? Her memory sucks at times.

Not in a thousand years would any of these questions be allowed and we all know it.

This whole thing with the press and our President’s doctors is just more proof of the hatred the left has for someone who stopped them in their tracks. And that brings me back around to the state of us. For my entire life we have been equally divided and nothing has changed except now the other side hates me. Why? We have raised a generation who doesn’t know how to lose and will take it personally when they do. So now it’s time to stop pretending and just find a way to come to terms with the fact that half the population don’t think like you. Once again… The more divided we are, the stronger Washington becomes. Why can’t you see that? this whole press mess is a desperate attempt to detract and keep us at odds.

I suppose I’ve gone off on another tangent, dammit! I need some nice weather so I can get out of the house. I couldn’t make it up north.
