Just around the time I made the decision to retire, I found this cute little game that you play on your phone, and I thought that it would be something to do while traveling and times like that. A time filler I guess. A time filler. This game is a time filler in the same way a newborn baby is a time filler. And very early, I decided to start a second account so I could have two bases. Why? Because one baby is not enough, I needed twins. For two and a half years now, I have nursed this game, and played and worried and devoted myself to this cute little game that can be played in thirty minutes.

But here’s the thing… I don’t play for thirty minutes. I play until the game tells me that I need a break. Yep. I play until the game tells me to find something else to do.

Wayne, you need to find a hobby. Come back tomorrow and play awhile.

And then, you find others who don’t have a life either, and you all get together and form a clan, but not in a bad way that involves sheets… it’s more like a bunch of guys and gals who get together under one banner and fight other guys who have their own banner, and you try to beat them into the ground and win. And then your clan is happy. I’m sure they are happy, but I am not positive.

Because you see, in two and one half years, I have never won a clan war. Not ever.

I’m not saying that I’m bitter about it but it got so bad that about six months ago I took me and my second account, and left a pretty good clan… to start my own. I couldn’t take the pressure of this cute little game that you play on your phone.

I named my clan Deplorables. Our motto is We eat, drink and sleep a lot. Making clan war great again.

Now I have a pretty good clan and I am sure that any day now, we will be victorious. When we do, I’ll let you know. Heck, I’ll let everybody know.

COC update… On Saturday, the sixth of January, 2018, our clan won 8-1. It was a glorious day and much ale and mead was drank on that day I tell you! Long live the Deplorables!
