You know how it is in the doctor’s office. You walk in and wait for that magical moment when the nurse swings the door open and calls your name, and you’re so happy that you completely forget that you had an appointment but you still had to wait for over an hour. In an attempt to keep you happy while you wait, in between the nurse swinging that magical door open, you are provided an assortment of outdated magazines, to pass the time. Today I picked up a copy of Time from April…  I think … anyway, it had a black cover and a question on it.

Is Truth Dead?

I didn’t bother to read the article because I really didn’t see the point.

You can’t kill truth and truth will be around long after we are dead and gone. It was a dishonest question designed to set the table for us to be spoon fed what ever it was Time magazine was pedaling six months ago.

I will say this about reading Time or any other political magazine that is agenda driven… and they are all agenda driven… six months later is the best way.

I think a better question for Time might have been…

How about an article about that?

Here is the world according to Wayne, all boiled down to what I see everywhere. Selfish people who want what they want and what you want means very little to them. Don’t we have this all turned around? So here we are in reality…

• Things God wants.
• Things We want.

I am trying to look at the world in exactly this way, while half of the world is hell bent on destroying the other half. We can never have an honest discussion if we are not honest. Don’t look to anyone but yourself. I am not very good at self analysis but I am pretty damn good at knowing what I want. I want to get better at finding out what God wants for me. Who knows what that could lead to?

Isn’t it time to look for a better way?

Please heal our broken country.
