Fall Break 2017 and we have a  visitor for the week, little miss Novella! I think our grandchildren will keep us young far beyond our years and I am hoping it will be a great week.

Well, it looks like it’s going to be a wet rainy week so I guess our outside activities are not going to happen but we are having a great time singing and playing. Novella has forbidden me to sing Let it Go. Sad because I was getting pretty good. 

It’s not often that you run into a little one that is happy all the time but Novella is always happy and it is contagious! I wish the weather had been better but honestly don’t know how we could have had a better time. My favorite time was listening to her sing Jesus Loves Me! Mimi made her an apron that was so pretty but she wouldn’t wear it but on our last day, she finally put it on…. she loved it so much that she wouldn’t take it off! She rode to Nashville with it on! Sometimes life is just good.

A pretty good life lesson…. It doesn’t take much to make the young and old guys like me happy!
