Anarchy has a couple of definitions, I’ll go with this one.

A state of disorder due to absence or nonrecognition of authority.

synonyms are… lawlessness, chaos, mayhem.

Allrighty then.

 

I don’t know how this is going to float. It may not float at all, but here goes, because nothing ever gets fixed with both sides yelling at the top of their lungs in languages that the other can’t understand.

I speak English.

I am 100% against White Nationalist.

I am 100% against Black Lives Matter.

I don’t know of any stronger language to use to condemn each of these two groups.

If you are unsure of the definition of either against or condemn, please look it up.

If your team is either of these two, you are part of the problem.

I don’t like mobs. I believe in peaceful protest. If you are protesting peacefully and you are attacked, and you fight back, you have lost the high ground.

Anarchy doesn’t have a color, but it does have a goal.

I have a serious question and I will listen to any reasonable response. If you are planning on going on the attack, you have been warned… talking points don’t get you very far with me.

If hate speech isn’t covered under the first amendment, what good is it? Can’t the majority just shout you down under the guise of hate speech?

And who decides what is hate?

Here are my thoughts on this.

You can’t suppress peoples thoughts and opinions, and why would you want to? Isn’t it better to have those opinions out in the open, where they can be debated and defeated through honest debate?

There is the real problem. We don’t want honest debate.

Today two groups came together in Virginia, looking for trouble, and they found it. When you use your car as a weapon to destroy other humans, you have lost your right to remain in society. I am pretty OK with the death penalty. In my mind and in my heart, I do not understand hating someone because of their skin color. If you are a white nationalist, please explain to me why in the hell it is alright to run over a bunch of people with your car just because you don’t like them. If you are part of black lives matter or another one of the endless groups that hide under George Soros, we have seen the hate you bring with you, in city after city after city.

Most of us are not like either of the two extremes we saw today. Most of us want to get along. If you honestly believe that this disaster was not orchestrated by professionals on both sides, you are a fool. I watched a dude use an aerosol can and a lighter to attack one of the wacko Nazis. Who takes a blow torch to a protest? Answer is… somebody looking to maim somebody.

What brought these groups together? Charlottesville’s plan to remove a statue of Robert E. Lee from a city park. Yep. Three dead and a couple dozen wounded for that.

Now here is where about half of you will become unable to speak the same language as I do.

I’m still speaking English.

Mixed in with all these really bad people were people who just wanted to save this old confederate statue. Now I have a few rules that I live by and one of those rules goes something like this, You are known by the company you keep.

I would not have been there because like I said way way up at the beginning, I’m 75% against those scary people? No…  I am 100% against White Nationals. 

I am 100% for these Confederate monuments. They are part of history. We are changing history. If you can walk around with Che Guevara on your shirt and claw your eyes out over a statue of a civil war general from the losing side, you are the problem.

Now lastly, and in an effort to not bring politics into any of this, I have no choice but to cut around the edges, because one thing that I have always done when something like this happens, is read the comments when I read any article. I am reading about how this was all brought on by this or by that and I will remind you that several years ago and with another in charge of the White House, I was reading about how this was all brought about by this or by that. I suspect that it has been this way since the beginning of time.

Right now, we don’t know what we don’t know and it is never exactly how it is originally reported. 

Meanwhile, life is passing us by.
