One thing that I did not realize about traveling and seeing all that our country has to offer is that everything cost money. Everything requires an entrance fee. By the time we paid to get into Yellowstone and then paid again to see the Grand Tetons, after paying for all the other parks we had gone to, we discovered that you can buy a national parks pass. You are welcome. The only thing that is free around here is the air and my opinion! For me, and please don’t ridicule me, I was not that impressed with Yellowstone National Park. I didn’t take a lot of pictures and by now I was becoming harder and harder to impress.

The Grand Tetons.

From here we were on our way to The Grand Canyon… did I mention how many miles are between each of these sights? We will talk about that later!
First we stopped at Idaho Falls, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas and the Hover Dam which was 111 degrees on the day we rolled into town. Dry heat or not, it was pretty damn hot!
