I wrote this a few months ago and here we are a week and a half away from choosing who will guide us through a very difficult time in our history. There is no way that the director of the FBI would pull the scab off a festering wound unless there was no other way. Liberals, it is time you begin to live by the ethics you preach. Allegations of sexual misconduct was enough for you to call for Donald Trump to step down. What will you do with new information that was serious enough to call for a new FBI investigation on Hillary Clinton? Everything will be back on the table again now. The possibility of Anthony Weiner being the one to finally bring the Clintons to justice is karma at its finest. Our leaders reflect who we are as a people. Walk away from this rotting stench or live with the fact that you have two sets of rules and no credibility left. As a brief side note,we arrived home from a two week trip circling the western States on July second. It is late October and from time to time I can still detect a slight smell when I open the freezer. I can’t decide if it is real or just me being paranoid.

 
Have you ever sat down with yourself and discovered what your core beliefs are?If so,you carry them around with you every day and use them in everything you do. They don’t become you, they are you.I feel that many today have a”side”that they will defend regardless of their core beliefs and I am trying to come to terms with what that means in an amoral Society. In Orwell’s 1984 there is the idea that people can be made to think two opposite things at the same time and I think that’s where we are now. We recently came back from being away from home for two weeks to find my power had been off for about ten days due to an electrical storm. The smell was unbearable. It’s four days later now and we’ve done everything we know to get the smell out of our refrigerator. It’s a lot better now but from time to time I can still smell it. Here’s what worries me . I’m not worried that the smell will never go away,I’m worried that I will get used to the smell.I think that is where we are now. The stench is unbearable but we can no longer discern because we have abandoned our core beliefs.I don’t have a side, I have what I believe and I know when I am being lied to. We are being lied to. It is time to walk away from your side no matter what side that is. Our government is rotten and we need new leaders. We need the Creator of the universe. We need men not babies. We need leaders not criminals. We need laws that apply to everyone regardless of stature. We need the truth, not lies. We need to sit down with ourselves and discover who we are.
